Rambla de Castro and Los Roques

Rambla de Castro and Los Roques

Our proposal is a walk along the Rambla de Castro path that leads us to connect the San Pedro viewpoint with Los Roques beach. The route is suitable for all ages and levels, very easy and perfectly signposted. It takes approximately 2 hours and a half to get there and back, about 8 km without going too fast. We will visit a protected landscape of the island with a great diversity of flora.

Candelaria

Candelaria

Located on the southeast side of Tenerife, some 17 kilometres from Santa Cruz, Candelaria is known for its Basilica, which houses the image of the Virgin of Candelaria. A basilica that is always busy and full of pilgrims eager to see La Morenita, the affectionate name by which the Canarians refer to the patron saint of the islands, a fact that generates the visit of more than two million people every year.

Punta Brava Beach

Punta Brava Beach

Punta Brava beach is in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, located within the Playa Jardín complex. Also known as Playa Grande, it is a wonderful beach of black volcanic sand. Next to a coastal neighbourhood surrounded by solidified basaltic lava from past eruptions. It is an area with moderate waves and with the tides there is little change in the space of sand where you can lay your towel.

Garachico

Garachico

Garachico is a beautiful village, an essential stop if you are in Tenerife. But above all it is a very peculiar village because of its history. It was founded by a Genoese banker, Cristóbal de Ponte in 1496 and in 1916 King Alfonso XIII granted it the title of Villa y Puerto. It was also the main port of Tenerife during the 16th and 17th centuries.

Teresitas Beach

Teresitas Beach

The beach of Las Teresitas is a very well known beach in Tenerife, it is very close to Santa Cruz in the village of San Andrés. It is a beach without a lot of waves thanks to the installation of dikes that attenuate the waves, it is ideal for spending the day with the family and strolling along the shore. It is 1,300 m long and has lifeguard showers and access for the disabled.
